Antonio (Tony) Oquendo was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and has lived in Washington, DC for the past 16 years. He resides in Northeast DC.
Tony grew up working weekends in the family seafood restaurant. He is a graduate of the Cornell Hotel Restaurant Management School and has spent over 25 years as a professional restaurant manager. He started at Division Sixteen in Boston, MA and went on to WPA in Miami Beach and then to Grillfish DC as General Manager. He became an EatWell DC partner in 2003 and has participated in the opening and operations of all EatWell DC restaurants as an Operating Partner.
